Review: Multi Media Speakers
============================
If you don't own a hi-fi and you do own an STE, you'll be
wishing you could take advantage of the STE's stereo sound
capabilities. Well now it's possible with this speakers from
Gasteiner. Look at any PC and you will see two speakers
stuck to the side of its monitor; look at any Amiga and you
will see the same. So why should your STE be different now
these speakers Gasteiner are around?
The Multimedia speakers will plug straight into the
headphone socket if you own a Falcon, while STE owners
will need to to get a 3.5mm stereo jack to stereo phono plug
adaptor if they want to connect these speakers to their
machines. STFM owners can connect the speakers to their
machines as well, but only if they have a REPLAY cartridge.
Even then, stereo sounds won't be produced. A shame.
The sound quality from these speakers is very good indeed.
They have controls for amplication and volume and of course
power switches. The power supply is, unfortunately, an
external one which is another downfall. All in all, they're
a good buy. And they look good!
